A capsule wardrobe for the Cyprus climate

Short answers
Shopping in North Cyprus: frequently asked
- Where do you buy bags and shoes in North Cyprus?
- There are three routes: shops in Nicosia, Kyrenia and Famagusta, ordering from abroad yourself, and island-based online boutiques. A shop puts the piece in your hands today but offers a narrow selection; ordering abroad opens everything but leaves shipping and returns to you; an online boutique sits between the two.
- Is ordering from abroad to North Cyprus worth it?
- It is worth it if you want one specific model and have time for the admin. Shipment tracking, the customs step and any return stay with you, and returns in particular are expensive and slow. Asking a boutique that imports in batches moves that work to their side.
- What do you wear in Cyprus through the year?
- The year splits in two: a long humid heat from May to October, and a mild rainy stretch from November to March. Summer calls for breathable fabrics like linen, cotton and viscose; winter is covered by a light rain jacket, a knit layer and closed shoes with a thick sole.
- Why aren't prices listed on the Luxeva Cyprus site?
- Stock changes with every batch, so we don't publish prices. Rather than show an out-of-date figure, we send the current price and remaining quantity on WhatsApp the day you ask.
- How long does an order take to arrive?
- Pieces in the window that are in stock go out with a courier within 2 days. For pieces we bring in to order, the wait is 7–8 days for branded items and 15–18 days for unlabelled ones.
